Dear Students & Parents,
It is hard to believe we are in the month of May. This year went by so fast. I would like to thank all the students and parents for such a wonderful first year. I have so many ideas for next year and I can't wait! As we finish up this quarter the students are working on their final projects.
The 7th Grade Students are finishing up their Keyboarding for Kids lessons. We will be having a test on typing with the keyboards covered. They also did a great job on the Excel Lessons. I was pleased with all the test grades.
Sixth Grade is finishing up their PowerPoint Presentations on Rome. Hopefully they will get to present their PowerPoints, but with only 3 or 4 classes left, it doesn't look like it will happen. They are going a great job though!
Fifth Grade is also finishing up their PowerPoint Presentations on moving from 5th Grade to 6th Grade. Some have presented already and did a wonderful job.
The 4th Grade classes have been introduced to PowerPoint, but won't create presentations until next year. They have been finishing up their Keyboarding for Kids lessons. I have seen such improvement from the beginning of the year to now. They did such a great job.
Third Grade finished up their Animal Research Project by creating their cover page. They learned how to put in photos from the internet and how to use Word Art.
The 1st & 2nd Grade students started learning the different parts of a computer. We reviewed what a monitor, keyboard, mouse, software and hardware were. We will continue to reinforce these terms.
And for the Graduation Class of 2009, I want to wish you all good luck in the next journey of your life. I enjoyed every class and I hope you all learned something new.
If you child is absent from my class, please have them come see me when they return to school. With having small assignments, the importance of these is greater.

Monday-7:30-8:00 am
2:00- 2:30 pm
Tuesday: 2:00-2:40 pm
Wednesday: 7:30- 8:00 am
2:00-2:40 pm
Thursday: 7:30-8:00 am
Friday: 7:30-8:00 am
